Shadasia Green Takes Split Decision Over Savannah Marshall

Following a very competitive and nip-and-tuck fight, super middleweight champion Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (16-1, 11 KO’s) defeated Savannah Marshall by way of split decision. In her post-fight victory, Green was overtaken by emotion thinking about her 20-year journey to becoming a newly crowned unified champion. Naturally, being so caught up in the moment, The Sweet Terminator did not call out nor mention any future foes.

One such person, however, is the obvious Savannah Marshall, who felt she got a raw deal on the scorecards. Even without voicing her displeasure, split decisions in and of themselves lend themselves to the notion of a rematch. It’s hard to believe that Marshall would not like to run it back. She entered the match as the IBF champion. It would not be surprising if a rematch clause was included in their paperwork.

ONE LAST BOSS

Provide that fate does not collide Marshall and Green together in an immediate rematch, there is unified champion Franchon Crews Dezurn (10-2, 2 KO’s) left to tangle with. Dezurn just toppled Citlalli Ortiz this past June 6. If Green does not dance with Marshall, then obviously it makes perfect sense to hop in the ring with Dezurn.

Not only could The Sweet Terminator become undisputed, but she could also avenge her only professional loss. This is due to the unanimous decision defeat she suffered at the hands of Dezurn back on December 15, 2023. As a professional fighter, there have to be few things that feel better than getting your get-back and becoming undisputed in one single fight. So, let’s see what’s in the immediate future for The Sweet Terminator.
