Jarrell Miller Fails Another Test; Pulled From July 9 Card!
According to The Athletic, disgraced heavyweight contender Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (23-0-1, 20KOs) has yet again tested positive for performance enhancing drugs. The drug in question would be one of four he has previously tested positive for: GW1516!
Subsequently, his fight with Jerry Forest (26-3, 20KOs) has been canceled. This is a complete shocker given the big heavyweight from New York was given a “second chance” by Top Rank Promotions!
The first incident came when he blew a major opportunity last June when he was scheduled to face unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21KOs). Not only did he squander away a world title opportunity, he also cost himself a career high payday in the process. In addition, he had a hug advantage being the fight was happening in his backyard!
Of course it would be former unified champion Andy Ruiz who ended up seizing the opportunity.
OLD HABITS DIE HARD!
Looking for a fresh start, the disgraced Miller would rebound and sign a promotional pact with Bob Arum’s Top Rank. The popular promotional company in return put him as the headliner of their July 9 card on ESPN.
It’s clear that Miller has an issue with refraining from using banned substances. In total, this is the fourth drug test to comeback dirty. All of the confidence he showcased appears to be from what he was putting into his body instead of the natural skills he possesses.
This is a humorous blow to his already tainted image. It’s clear that Miller lacks the integrity and respect for not only himself, but for the sport that has afforded him an opportunity to showcase his skills worldwide.
Stay tuned to 3kingsboxing.com for Miller’s highly anticipated response!
