Jermell Charlo Tells Terence Crawford to Do More Fighting Than Talking

The beef between undisputed junior middleweight champion Jermell “Iron Man” Charlo (35-1-1, 19KO) and WBO welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (39-0, 30KO) continues to bring drama. The two champions have engaged in a war of words on social media several times in the past. However, Charlo is not interested in going back and forth anymore, unless its over a fight.

During an interview on The Last Stand Podcast with Brain Custer, Charlo responded to some harsh comments from the WBO Champion.

“Whatever guy. You get your paperwork right, talk to Mr. Haymon, we’ll get a fight going . . . I’ll show you better than I can tell you. Ain’t nothing easy in the ring with me.”

“I’m grown; these kids, they just talk. He ain’t fought nobody for real for real . . . we don’t know who these last guys are, you signing this with BLK – he just doing business wrong. He’s sloppy with his business. So, I don’t know what he wants to do, but I’m down to fight. I don’t have time to go back and forth with him.”

BOTH CHAMPIONS ARE UNAVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT

Like him or not, Charlo is correct for not investing any more time into a pointless argument that leads to nowhere. The undisputed champion’s plate is full with an upcoming fight with mandatory challenger Tim Tszyu.

In addition, Crawford is being pushed towards a fight with Alexis Rocha following an order by the WBO. Equally important, the boxing community stills want to see the undisputed showdown against unified champion Errol Spence Jr.
