Jeyvier Cintron Knocks Out Victor Sandoval in Thriller!

In his latest tour of duty, bantamweight fighter Jeyvier “Perrito” Cintron (14-1, 7 KO’s) toppled Victor “Chucky” Sandoval by way of first round TKO. Despite emerging the victor, Cintron had to brave the bout’s initial knockdown before flooring Sandoval three times. Adding a bit more luster, the stoppage win was his first fight and victory in just over a calendar year.

Having toppled Chucky, Perrito can now move upward and onward with his career. Due to the duration of his absence, Cintron has slipped from the top 15 of all rankings. Unfortunately, during his post-fight interview, the Puerto Rican boxer provided no insight into who his next opponent may be.

Given that he previously challenged for the WBO super flyweight title, there is reason to believe that he may target someone falling under the bantamweight WBO umbrella. American boxer Michael Angeletti (14-0, 8 KO’s), currently ranked #8 (IBF and WBA) and #13 (WBO and WBC), recently notched his latest win on June 7, 2025. Since that UD victory, Angeletti has been out of action. Perhaps a rumble with Cintron is in the cards next.

Yet, since this is just speculation, we will just have to wait and see what is next for Jeyvier Cintron.
