Joe Joyce parts with Abel Sanchez; brings in Adam Booth as new trainer
So much for the Joe Joyce-Abel Sanchez pairing.
3kingsboxing.com has learned heavyweight prospect Joe Joyce (8-0, 8KOs) has decided to part ways with trainer Abel Sanchez. He went 3-0 under the tutelage of Sanchez, last appearing in the ring in February.
There, he stopped former WBC champion Bermane Stiverne.
Adam Booth, the same guy who guided David Haye to titles at Crusierweight and Heavyweight, will replace Sanchez. This will be Joyce’s third trainer swap, as he was previously trained by Ismael Salas prior to bringing in Sanchez.
Booth is one of the more glorified coaches in the UK. Between he and Dominic Ingle, the two are synonymous with being the top coaches the UK has to offer amongst fans.
However, only time will tell if Booth will be as effective with Joyce as he has been with many fighters in the past.
