Is Hearn Making A Play For Davis
Has Eddie Hearn finally gotten the marquee name he was looking for? It all depends on how you view this fighter, maybe.
There’s speculation that Hearn has made current WBA and former IBF junior lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis a very good offer.
Davis took to Twitter and tweeted this.
“I heard someone made a good offer for me”
Then he re-tweeted replies to the original Tweet that mentioned Hearn.
Although nothing is official it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Davis took the rumored deal, he’s been at odds with his promoter Floyd Mayweather Jr for a while now. He’s expressed his unhappiness all over social media recently.
It’s the legalities involved that no one knows for sure. Davis himself isn’t even sure of his contractual obligations to Mayweather Promotions or so he has indicated in the past.
