Shakur Stevenson Prods William Zepeda to Sign The Contract

Two-divisional champion Shakur “Fearless” Stevenson (19-0, 9KO) and top lightweight contender William “Camaron” Zepeda (27-0, 23KO) are still trading words on social media. As both fighters are trying to make a fight between the two of them, Stevenson hints that perhaps Golden Boy may have rejected the fight.

It all started when DAZN took to social media asking who wanted to fight Zepeda next after he defeated former junior lightweight champion Joseph Diaz. This prompted a response from Fearless, who was willing to take the challenge.

Of course, Zepeda’s pride was not going to let this go unanswered. He responded to Stevenson by asking for a contract. The boxing community has been paying close attention to this situation, praying the fight gets made.

STEVENSON WANTS TO KNOW WHAT’S TAKING SO LONG

After a few days of radio silence, Stevenson sent out a message to Camaron, wondering what was taking so long to return the contract.

This post set off a chain of events where both fighters engaged in a minor back and forth. Zepeda hit back telling the two-division champion to speak with his people about a contract that didn’t show up. Stevenson tossed in Zepeda’s promoter Golden Boy for not making their fighter aware of the contract.
