In an all-action fight, newly crowned WBC junior welterweight champion Subriel “El Orgullo De Maternillo became a two-time champion by defeating Alberto “La Avispa” Puello. The Puerto Rican will defend the title against top contender Dalton “Thunder” Smith.

Matias was able to win over the judges with pressure the whole fight. He kept coming forward and started to find success with the uppercut. Immediately following the fight, boxing fans were told that Matias must defend the title against Smith in November. Smith is full of confidence with an undefeated record. In his last outing, the Brit beat up Mathieu Germain with ease en route to a unanimous decision.

Despite having an aggressive style, Thunder can box. But he has never faced anyone on the same level as Matias. It is going to be a good fight as both men love to come forward and throw punches in bunches.
