Crusierweight announced as the third division for season 2 of the WBSS!
Apparently the boxing the world couldn’t get enough of the Crusierweight division! It is back for the second straight season of the World Boxing Super Series.
Last season, we saw the top cruiserweights in the world battle it out for the Muhammad Ali trophy and the right to be undisputed champion. Oleksandr Usyk came out on top; dominating pretty much the entire field.
Now, we’ll get to see a new crop of guys attempt to win the coveted Muhammad Ali trophy. Potentially, we may even see some returning champions.
While no fighters were confirmed for the tournament today, it is expected that we’ll get that announcement later on this week.
It’ll be interesting to see who joins the tournament this time around!
