Aaron Silva Beats Alberto Artiga By 3rd Round TKO!
In his latest tour of duty, super middleweight fighter Aaron Silva (15-1, 12 KO’s) defeated late replacement Alberto Artiga (6-14, 2 KO’s) by way of third round TKO.
Right from the outset, Silva jumped on the exceedingly flatfooted Artiga with near exclusive power shots. By the end of the first round, Artiga’s face was turning red and bleeding from the nose. To his credit, Artiga held his ground and was taking his shots but simply was too slow and very out gunned.
Nothing changed in the second period. Then, after being driven back in the corner and whacked with a left hook overhand right combo, the fight was stopped by the referee, awarding Silva the third-round victory.
