Abdullah Mason Shifts his Attention Toward Sam Noakes

As many predicted, rising star and lightweight contender Abdullah Mason made short work of his Namibian foe, Jeremia Nakathila. Mason provided enough of a thumping that Nakathila retired on his stool after four short rounds.

Heading into the match, the talented bruiser was ranked #2 (WBO), #4 (WBC) and #15 (IBF). In his quest for a title however, Team Mason is presently putting their chips in with the WBO. When quizzed about his upcoming in-ring intentions, Abdullah Mason made it clear that he was focused on securing a match with #1 (WBO) Sam Noakes. He is even willing to dust off his passport to mosey on over to the UK. Hopefully we will get an announcement sooner than later.

“That should be workable and that is definitely something that we want; we want to head toward those titles.”

“Anything that can be worked out, I am willing to make it happen. And we are working to the top, that is what I am here for!”
