If The Money is Right, Kell Brook is Down for a Bout with Chris Eubank Jr

In the sport of boxing, when a fighter wins, it’s the equivalent to spilling blood in ocean water. This is because once a boxer’s hand is raised in victory, it takes no time at all for the sharks to start circling. Such was the case when Kell “Special K” Brook (40-3, 28 KO’s) took out his long-time domestic rival Amir Khan. After a rather lopsided beating, Brook stopped Khan in the sixth round of their prizefight.

Just as quick as referee Victor Loughlin could jump in to save Amir Khan from further damage, middleweight fighter Chris Eubank Jr (32-2, 23 KO’s) called Brook out. Eubank, ranked #1 (WBA), #3 (WBO) #3 (WBC), did so via his social media. Provided that the two do fight, it would certainly make for an intriguing showdown.

SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Before we delve too far deep into serious daydreaming about this dustup, it must first be determined that Brook will even remain a professional fighter. It is a very real possibility that he fought his last match as stated by the fighter himself

“I don’t know, I don’t know. I could do [that], I have to sit down with the family. My adrenaline is going, I am still on a high.”

If he does persist in the brutal trade, then Special K would be extremely willing to lace up the gloves and dance with Eubank Jr

“Listen, that fight can happen! I can beat Eubank. Listen, we are going to have to sit down and see what his next options are, see what kind of Benjamins he is talking!”
