Conor Benn not impressed with Josh Kelly!

Two rising U.K fighters could be on a collision course if the two keep up their winning ways! Unbeaten welterweight prospect and son of a legend, Conor “The Destroyer” Benn (16-0, 11KOs) is not impressed with fellow U.K welterweight and WBC #13 ranked fighter Josh “Pretty Boy” Kelly (10-0-1, 6KOs).

While Benn has more fights under his belt at 16 compared to Kelly’s 10, the latter is much further along, having fought the much better competition thus far. However, that didn’t stop Benn from taking aim.

In an interview on the Sky Sports Boxing show, Benn let it be known that he’s not impressed with how Kelly conducts himself in the ring and warned that wouldn’t work against him.

“Well listen I think styles makes fights and you know we’re polar opposites the way we are – the way we conduct ourselves. When we get into the ring I’m down to business, I mean business.

“I ain’t chilling, I ain’t relaxing, I ain’t showing no flashy moves until I get you out of there. That’s the difference between me and him, watching him now all them flashy moves ain’t working on somebody who ain’t coming to stick it on him.

“I’ll stick it on him.”

COMPARING THEIR STYLES

Benn is the less refined fighter who brings power and pressure to break down his opponents. Kelly on the other hand is the more technical and tactical athletic fighter who also possesses good hand speed and power.

Both of these young fighters are extremely confident and this match-up may have major intrigue if they keep winning. An all British showdown between these two is certainly possible if things continue as they are.
