Shadasia Green Looks To Defend Her Title Against Elin Cederroos!

Former unified champion Elin Cederroos (8-1, 4KO) puts herself on the path to “redemption” as she enters a very dangerous WBC title eliminator against undefeated knockout artist and Silver champion, Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (11-0, 10KO) February 4.

RIGHT BACK ON THE SADDLE

The former WBA & IBF title holder has finished licking her wounds from a disappointing loss in a bid for undisputed champion against Franchon Crews-Dezurn in April 2022. She was expected to give the champ a good fight in her second trip to the United States. However, she was thoroughly outclassed in a “walk-away” win for Crews-Dezurn.

Cederroos hasn’t seen ring action since. Major credit to her for deciding to forego a tune-up to head right back in the mix at super middleweight.

A BIG OPPORTUNITY

Green has earned her position as the WBC silver champion and #1 contender. Her ability to dispatch all but one of her opponents is a testament to the power she possesses that is rarely seen in women’s boxing. She has even garnered comparisons against the great Ann Wolfe. Green’s dominance in 2022 made her an easy pick for the 3kingsboxing.com Female Prospect of the Year award.

The Sweet Terminator was last seen stopping respected contender Ogleidis Suarez in five rounds. This marked her eighth consecutive knockout victory!

HIGH STAKES!

Although, under the radar, this is a match-up with very high implications for the winner. Cederroos can look to get revenge for the only loss in her pro career and possibly get a second shot at becoming an undisputed champion.

Green will officially emerge as an “unavoidable” problem in the division and should demand her shot at the full WBC title. Especially, if she is able to keep her knockout streak alive against a formidable former champion.

We will see who wants it more February 4!
