Jared Anderson is Upset with Top Rank and Threating to Leave

Heavyweight contender Jared “Big Baby” Anderson (16-0, 15KO) has taken to social media upset with his promotional company Top Rank. In a video that has gone viral, Big Baby threatened to leave the legendary promotional company.

A MESSAGE TO THE COMPANY

While watching featherweight Raymond Ford defeat Otabek Kholmatov for the vacant WBA title, Big Baby took issue with the network reporting on his February 29 arrest. He quickly took to social media and delivered a serious message to the company.

“@toprank don’t piss me off, we can break this shit off right now.”

“Top Rank, I don’t know what the fuck is going with y’all. But, on my mama, is y’all promoting me, or is y’all trying to down me cuz? It’s bad enough everybody else is posting the dumbass shit.”

“Y’all don’t even know what the fuck is going on yet…I don’t know what the fuck is up with you niggas on that fucking stand bro. Quit doing this weird ass shit, bro.”

According to reports, the police tried to stop him three times, only for the heavyweight contender to accelerate, exceeding speeds over 130 mph. The chase ended when he crashed the orange Dodge Challenger into a median.

NOT HIS FIRST TIME

In November 2023, Anderson came under heavy scrutiny after being charged with operating a vehicle impaired and improperly handling a firearm. Boxing fans and pundits will turn up the heat on questioning his future in the sport, given the recent incident.

To his credit, the Ohioan took to Instagram with a message for fans promising to make better decisions.

Fans will be paying close attention to his performance against one-time WBA cruiserweight champion Ryad Merhy on April 13.
