Keyshawn Davis is Certain he Would Stop Adam Azim
Top lightweight contender “The Businessman” Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 7KO) is looking to step into the ring against junior welterweight prospect Adam “The Assassin” Azim (11-0, 8KO). In addition, he likes the idea of traveling to the United Kingdom to make the fight happen.
If this callout sounds familiar, it should, as The Businessman has mentioned The Assassin’s name once before. In 2023, he told Sky Sports Boxing to deliver a message to the undefeated British prospect after learning Azim had mentioned his name.
“Tell Adam I will fuck him up. Tell Adam to set the fight up. I will come to the UK to fuck him up.”
HIS ENERGY NEVER CHANGED
It appears Davis has maintained the same energy and once again expressed those sentiments while speaking with Sky Sports Boxing.
“If Adam is willing to fight me, I will play the game, and we will fight in the UK and make it a mega sell-out-fight. . .I’ll come to your hometown, it’s nothing new to me.”
“I will stop Adam Azim. I know that for a fact.”
Keyshawn Davis
Azim successfully defended the EBU European title for the second time against Enock Poulsen on February 3. He has expressed an interest in fighting the brash undefeated lightweight sometime later down the line.
Davis is coming off a spectacular performance against two-division champion Jose Pedraza. The victory has propelled the Virginian from a prospect to a legit title contender with a ranking of #3 WBC, and #6 with both IBF and WBO.
Honestly, this fight won’t happen anytime soon because both fighters are on different trajectories. Davis is within an eye shot of a world title. Also, members of team Azim probably are not eager to put him in the ring just yet with someone of Davis’ caliber.
