Oscar Duarte Bags a Knockout Win Over Miguel Madueno!
While appearing in the DAZN main event, lightweight fighter Oscar “La Migrana” Duarte (29-2-1, 23 KO’s) notched an impressive seventh round knockout victory over Miguel “Explosivo” Madueno (31-4, 28 KO’s).
In the opening round, it was actually Madueno who took control with his aggression, jab and movement. The two seriously turned up the temperature in the second where both enjoy great mean spirited offensive success.
In the third, La Migrana troubled Madueno to the body and a study hook jellied Explosivo’s legs in the fourth. Madueno leveled the action in the fifth but an awkward punch slashed open a bad cut on left eye in the closing seconds. Seeing blood invigorated Duarte who hammered his adversary throughout the entirety of the sixth.
Explosivo changed tactics by successfully putting his back to the corner or ropes in the seventh. While in this position, the action slowed and he performed more effectively. Regrettably, Madueno drifted back to the center ring where he was nailed with a debilitating hook.
Hostilely deposited back on the ropes, now with no legs, Duarte punched on his wounded opponent until referee Thomas Taylor jumped in to end the assault. Following the night’s clocked-in rounds, La Migrana was awarded a rough-knuckled seventh-round knockout victory.
