Ryan Garcia Openly Ponders If Devin Haney is Using Steroids

Junior welterweight title contender “King Ry” Ryan Garcia (24-1, 22KO) is buzzing on social media after hinting that WBC champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (31-0, 15KO) is a PED cheat.

As their fight inches closer and closer, Garcia’s erratic behavior has been the main focus point. However, his accusations of The Dream possibly taking steroids during a discussion on Twitter’s X Space has raised the eyebrows of boxing fans.

“I’m not worried about pillow-hands Haney, bro. He could lift whatever the fuck he wants. He could take steroids, ’cause I heard that he wasn’t giving his blood work to SNAC, through the grapevine . . . allegedly.”

King Ry was far from done and went after Haney for working with SNAC’s creator, Victor Conte, who has a checkered past.

“If you ever think I’m on steroids, dog, at least I don’t have the dude that was literally caught for steroids and got banned.”

TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY

Garcia hasn’t forgotten when Haney basically accused him, along with former trainer Eddy Reynoso, for being drug cheats. To be fair, the WBC champion doesn’t have to give blood to SNAC, but he does have to comply with the WBC’s Clean Boxing Program procedures.

The Dream has been consistent with doing VADA testing for every fight for quite some time. In addition, he has openly admitted to paying for it out of his own pocket, if necessary.

It’s understandable why Garcia would go after his rival in this fashion, as he has been playing mind games. Yet, he would be making a big mistake believing this version of Haney can’t punch.

Two-time champion Regis Prograis found that out the hard way as Haney hurt him multiple times and dropped him. Truthfully, Garcia needs to stop with all these nonsensical distractions and focus on the fight.
