Errol Spence Jr Hits Terence Crawford: “All Money Not Good Money”
The boxing community got to see a fight between unified welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr (28-0, 22KO) and WBO champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (38-0, 29KO). However, their fight was on social media, which had fans up into the late hours of the night.
The disappointment of the two champions not fighting for undisputed took the air out of boxing. Furthermore, both champions will be fighting other opponents.
Crawford went to social media to explain what happened in negotiations. He expressed that money was the key factor in the breakdown of communication. The WBO champion decided to go after The Truth’s claim of being his own boss.
SPENCE FIRES BACK AT CRAWFORD
Of course, Spence responded and things got seriously heated for a good length of time. First, he went after Crawford’s point of not having a guarantee by saying there were none for either fighter. The unified champion was not done. As the night ensued, he went on a wave of clap-back posts.
The boxing community was glued to their phones, reading the back and forth between the two champions. It was the most action fans have seen from either fighter. It’s just too bad it was not in the ring.
