Katie Taylor vs Rose Volante lightweight unification bout set

Katie Taylor (12-0, 5KOs), one of women’s boxing’s best, will look to unify the three of the four major sanctioning bodies when she takes on WBO champion Rose Volante (14-0, 8KOs).

The fight will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 16; St. Patrick’s Day weekend!

Volante (36), will head into this fight as a major underdog. This will be her first fight outside of Brazil since winning the WBO title back in 2017.

There’s a lot on the line for Taylor, who’s being lined up for a mega clash with multi-division champion Amanda Serrano later this year.

Serrano will go for her seventh divisional title at super flyweight against Eva Voraberger January 18 on DAZN.
