Erkan Teper vs Robert Helenius heavyweight fight is back on.
Teper and Helenius were previously set to do battle for the EU title in September. However, the camps could not reach an agreement and negotiations ceased.
This opened up the opportunity for German heavyweight Edmund Gerber to face Teper instead. Unfortunately due to illness, he pulled out of the fight which prompted Helenius’ team to attempt negotiations again.
This time an agreement was reached! The history between these two goes beyond 2018.
In 2015, this fight was on the bill but Teper pulled out due to injury. Shortly after, he tested positive for a banned substance.
Finally after three years, these two men will get a chance to lock horns on September 29.
