Tim Tszyu Planning to Outwit Undisputed Champ Jermell Charlo!
In his last assignment, professional knuckle-chucker Tim “The Soul Taker” Tszyu (21-0, 15 KO’s) made his US debut. For that match, the super welterweight bruiser faced the challenge of Terrell Gausha, who he defeated by unanimous decision. Now all signs are pointing to The Soul Taker gloving up for undisputed super welterweight champion Jermell “Iron Man” Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KO) in his next call to duty.
Tszyu, 27, is the WBO mandatory for Charlo with his rankings of #1 (WBO), #2 (WBC) and #3 (IBF). The WBO had ordered the two combatants to war. Yet prior to the fight being sent to a purse bid, the two camps worked out a deal voluntarily. So while this duel still has no formal date, Tszyu is presently preparing himself for Charlo next.
DOUBT IF YOU WANT
Despite his evident talent, there is no doubt that Charlo will enter this match as the favorite. Luckily this does not trouble or bother The Soul Taker, who is confident in his abilities. And as he explained to Fight Hub TV, he has supreme faith in his amply sharp tools.
“No disrespect to anyone, but my IQ, I am going to bring up a different version of myself and just be the best I can possibly be…shock the world man, shock the world! That’s the goal. When people think you’re not going to do, prove them all wrong!”
It will be very interesting to see if the Australian fighter can topple the American kingpin in his first title fight. The stage is certainly set for drama, so let’s watch how everything unfolds.
