Heavyweight title contender Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson must turn things around after signing a co-promotional deal with Queensberry Promotions CEO Frank Warren. Warren hints that Big Baby and top contender Moses Itauma could fight in the United States down the line.

Warren likes the idea of his fighter Itauma making a debut in American against The Real Big Baby in a big heavyweight showdown that could have title implications. While speaking with The Stomping Grounds, the British promoter explained what needs to be done for the fight to happen.

“Moses is fighting an American in Jermaine (Franklin) on Saturday. If he comes through that, and if Jared can come through and get a couple of wins under his belt, we take Moses to America and fight him there.”

THE ROAD TO REDEMPTION STARTS NOW

Anderson was on the rise, as many pundits believed he would be the next American heavyweight champion. The Ohioan had style, a solid amateur background, decent boxing skills, and power. However, his outside-the-ring distractions and first career defeat have him in the rebuilding phase. In 2024, his momentum was halted after suffering a brutal stoppage against Martin Bakole.

Anderson tried to bounce back, but underperformed against Marios Kollias in his only fight appearance in 2025. This had fans and boxing enthusiasts wondering if he would ever mentally recover from losing to Bakole.  Ranked #6 by the WBO, Anderson will need to regain everything that was lost in 2024 if he wants to be mentioned in the title picture again.

This will require that he look impressive in the upcoming fight against Solomon Dacres on May 9. Anything less than a dominant performance resulting in a knockout will be seen as a failure.
