Alen Babic picks up biggest win of his career over Eric Molina!
In the heavyweight division, the rising prospect is always refreshed with new challengers. Heavyweight hopeful Alen “The Savage” Babic (8-0, 8ko) is looking to step up in competition against two-time title contender Eric “Drummer Boy” Molina (28-7, 20ko).
Molina, at the age of 39 years old, is on his last leg in the sport. He has lost to other hot prospects like Fabio Wardley and Filip Hrgovic. The Drummer Boy has been stopped by knockout in all of his seven losses. However, he will be looking to use his experience in championship fights against former champions Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua as an advantage.
Babic comes with power and a fan-friendly aggressive style that has stopped every opponent that has stepped in the ring with him. Moreover, he is taking a huge step up in fighting an experienced veteran like Molina. Typically these are the kinds of fights a prospect takes before moving up to the world level. The Savage will be looking to score another savage knockout.
A CROWD PLEASER AT WORK!
Alen Babic is one of the most exciting rising heavyweight prospects today! No it’s not because of his skills; it’s due to his power and fan-friendly style.
He made easy work of Eric Molina, walking through the former two-time world title challenger with ease. The first round started with Savage coming forward and throwing two left hooks, followed by a huge right-hand that dropped him five seconds into the fight.
From that moment, it was just a matter of time before the end was sealed by the unbeaten power-punching mad man! Another knockdown would occur in round two via a left hook. If Molina wasn’t getting dropped, he was staggering across the ring like a guy who had too much to drink at a family reunion.
As for Savage, there’s no telling what his ceiling is. However, one thing is for certain: he’s going to be involved in some highly entertaining fan-friendly fights. In his post-fight interview, he called out fringe contender David Allen.
