Dereck Chisora completely destroys Artur Szpilka!
In a true cross-roads fight, Dereck Chisora and Artur Szpilka are both two former title contenders who were looking to stay relevant on the heavyweight scene.
This one would end very quickly!
Szpilka looked a bit tentative to trade with Chisora; utilizing his legs to stay away from the hard-hitting British fighter.
The problem, which ultimately be his down fall, was he kept putting his back against the ropes.
In the second round, while sitting on the ropes attempting to counter his aggressive opponent, a HUGE right had over the top landed flush on Szpilka’s chin. You could see in his eyes he was already out, however, instinct kept him standing as he put his gloves up.
That didn’t matter at all as two more hooks put him completely to sleep as he was sprawled on the canvas.
No need for a count! This fight was over!
Afterwards, Chisora made it clear he has no intentions of retiring. In addition, he states he wants the big fights! Prior to this match-up, former WBO champion Joseph Parker was a possible opponent and the name came up again.
Parker is coming off his own knockout win over Alex Leapai in June. This would be an excellent match-up to test how much Chisora really has left in the tank!
