Tank Davis v Hector Luis Garcia Set for January 7!
Gervonta “Tank” Davis (27-0, 25KOs) will make his 2023 ring debut against WBA Super 130-pound champion Héctor Luis Garcia (16-0-3, 10KOs) on January 7. The fight will take place in Washington DC at the Capital One Arena.
This news comes a day after he announced that he and Ryan Garcia will finally fight at some point in 2023. This fight against Garcia should prove to be a solid test.

For Garcia, this is a huge opportunity. He is coming off a big 2022 in which he soundly beat previously unbeaten Chris Colbert. He would follow that win up with another impressive victory over then WBA Super champ Roger Gutiérrez. A significant underdog, he has a major opportunity to upend the potential Davis v Ryan Garcia fight and give Davis his first professional loss.
