Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia next?!.. Kind of.
Highly touted prospect, Ryan Garcia has been going at Junior Lightweight WBA regular champion Gervonta Davis for months. It appears that he may will finally get the fight he’s been asking for.
Well, Sort of.
Garcia (19) believes he’s ready for Davis now even with only 15 fights in his career against somewhat limited competition. His own promoter in Oscar De La Hoya has even come out and said that he isn’t quite ready.
Recently, a screenshot of inbox exchanges between the fighters hit the internet with both guys agreeing to spar each other in California.
Garcia insisted there be 10 rounds but Davis countered with no set rounds and let’s go until someone can’t go anymore. Garcia ultimately agreed.
We’ve seen how brutal sparring sessions can be. Hopefully there’s a set round limit involved, because these two guys clearly have bad blood and this could get ugly real quick.
