Eddie Hearn Keen On Making Alycia Baumgardner vs Amanda Serrano Next!
It was sweet revenge for Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (15-1, 7 KOs) as the reigning undisputed women’s junior lightweight champion dispatched of Christina Linardatou with a unanimous decision win in Detroit, Michigan (Hyperlink1). Team Baumgardner is now targeting a match-up with undisputed featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (44-2-1, 30 KOs).
BRING ON SERRANO
Baumgardner is willing to fight anyone from 130-140 pounds. However, Serrano is at the top of her list. Following the win over Linardatou, Baumgardner’s promoter Eddie Hearn said the following about his fighter:

Serrano has an upcoming defense of the featherweight titles against Heather Hardy on August 5. If Serrano wins, a showdown with Baumgardner is a natural match-up.
WHY IT MAKES SENSE?
The two undisputed champions are considered elite, high-profile female fighters. With numerous endorsement deals outside of the ring, Baumgarder is on the verge of becoming a crossover star.
A multi-divisional world champion, Serrano is one of the most accomplished women in the sport. She proved her appeal in her epic battle against Katie Taylor in April 2022. Though she ended up on the losing end that evening, the event was a huge financial success and catapulted the profile and visibility of the featherweight world champion.
Baumgardner vs Serrano has the ingredients to be a fantastic battle. Both are big punchers and willing to stand and trade. It’s one of the best matches in all of boxing.
