Gonzalez and Braekhus added to December 8 HBO card
Former P4P king Roman Gonzalez will return on HBO. In his last fight on the under-card of Canelo-Golovkin, Gonzalez scored a one-sided fifth round TKO over Moises Fuentes.
Undisputed welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus will also be on the card making her second appearance on the network. In her HBO debut, she got up off the canvas for the first time in her career to defeat Kali Reis by unanimous decision.
There’s no word on who either fighter will face at the moment. This will supposedly be HBO’s last televised boxing event.
