Jesse Hart vs Eleider Alvarez in the works for Tyson Fury under-card
It appears that a very intriguing fight could be taking place at light heavyweight in the near future.
3kingsboxing.com has learned Jesse Hart vs Eleider Alvarez is in the works for June.
Both men are coming off of defeats in title bouts.
Hart (25-2, 21KO) lost a split decision in a rematch against WBO super middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez in December. When he heard Ramirez’ plans to move to light heavyweight, he mentioned on social media he would follow him to get his revenge.
Alvarez (24-1, 12KO) was on the wrong end of a major disappointing performance in his first title defense; a rematch with Sergey Kovalev.
This is a very important fight for both men. A win here will keep them relevant in their pursuit of another title opportunity down the line.
