Hurd puts Charlo on notice for 2019
Unified junior middleweight champion Jarrett Hurd (22-0, 15KOs) was in attendance in Philadelphia for the ShoBox: The New Generation card supporting Jaron Ennis.
The 28 year-old, wants everyone to know the shoulder is 100% and a showdown with undefeated WBC champion Jermell Charlo needs to happen in 2019. He would like to make the fight in the summer if possible. He claims the timing is right for the showdown.
“I have the dates,” states the Maryland native.
Additionally, the young champion believes Charlo will have his hands full against former foe Tony Harrison on December 22nd.
The division is loaded with great match-ups and the possibility of an undisputed champion is a huge possibility for 2019!
