Luis Nery gets a new opponent
3kingsboxing previously reported undefeated former WBC Bantamweight Champion Luis Nery would possibly fight Carlos Sardinez.
It now seems a last minute change has taken place and the new opponent is Renoel Pael (23-8-1, 12KO).
The 28 year-old fighter from the Philippines is unknown to the boxing community, sharing the ring with Ryan Lumacad and Andrew Moloney.
While having quality fight experience, Pael’s career has taken a downward spiral; losing eight of his last eleven fights. A victory here would take his career off life support.
Nery is still using this as a stay-busy fight in hopes of reclaiming the WBC title.
This fight is a Zanfer promotion special and can be seen on Box Azteca broadcasting from Saltillo, Mexico on December 1st.
