The rematch between Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr is a strong possibility
Chris Eubank Jr is fresh off a career defining victory against two-time IBF super middleweight champion James Degale that took place February 23rd in the O2 arena. Now yet again, he has welcomed a possible rematch with former WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders.
Eubank Jr may want to get revenge on the man that gave him his first loss. Lets remember there is serious bad blood between the two men. Furthermore, with Saunders now moving up to super middleweight, this could be a huge domestic level rematch.
Both men have shown interest in fighting again. Saunders would take to social media via twitter while his rival would answer questions in the post press conference of the DeGale bout.
“Absolutely we’ve got a lot history and he’s been caught doing drugs which I can’t condone.
“I look at that and kind of think does he deserve it but at the end of the day the rivalry we have it’s tough not to want that fight.”

The intriguing factor about a possible rematch is the improvement in his performance shown by the IBO title holder.
Now the fight won’t happen next as Saunders is scheduled to face Shefat Isuzu for the vacate WBO title.
Although, reports have surfaced Gilberto Ramirez claims he hasn’t vacated the title yet. However, he is set to fight in a ten round light heavyweight bout April 12 against an opponent to be determined.
This victory over Degale has made Eubank Jr even more popular. This is something Saunders needs right now.
The super middleweight division is becoming very exciting with plenty of mouth-watering match-ups.
