Dillian Whyte crushes Derek Chisora with big left hook in the 11th round!

What a fight! In a rematch from 2016, both Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora put on a fight that mirrored their first one!

Both men picked up where they left off, turning round one into round 13!

Each man capitalizing on each other’s defensive liabilities made for another thrilling battle. This fight was all about will power and determination.

Chisora constantly pushed his foe to the ropes using heavy pressure and would dig in some nasty body shots that clearly had an effect on Whyte. Additionally, hooks mixed into combinations to the head contributed to his early success.

As the fight made its way into the second half fatigue for Chisora would come into play as well as a questionable point deduction from the referee. It was clear he could no longer keep the same pace he had set for himself early.

While Chisora’s output and success declined, Whyte started to build momentum while finding his rhythm. Rounds where he seemed to be unproductive were part of a strategy that would prevent fatigue.

Then came the eleventh round!

The Conclusion

With one perfectly placed counter left hook to Chisora’s chin and it was all she wrote!

A brutal stoppage to end a terrific fight involving these two combatants. There is no doubt that similar to 2016, the rematch will go down as a Fight of the Year candidate.

After the fight, Whyte made it clear he should be the next man on Anthony Joshua’s radar.

The unified champion played to the crowd about making the rematch, however, he stated if a Wilder fight cannot be made in April, he would suggest his next opponent be Whyte.
