Zhang Zhilei pulls out of Ustinov fight
3kingsboxing previously reported undefeated heavyweight Zhilei Zhang’s (20-0, 16 KOs) bout with Alexander Ustinov (34-2, 25 KOs) would feature on a Matchroom card in Monte Carlo.
Reportedly, that fight is now off due to Zhang’s visa issues. This happened at a bad time, as it closes the window of a possible showdown with unified champion Anthony Joshua.
Also in jeopardy is the opportunity to introduce himself to a new audience. The WBO #5 ranked contender was hoping a victory against a quality opponent like Ustinov would see a huge boost in his career.
