Frank Warren sets the return of Anthony Yarde for October.
Frank Warren says that highly touted light heavyweight prospect Anthony Yarde (16-0, 15 KOs) will return on October 20. While there was no mention of his opponent, Warren did say the he hopes to announce that Monday.
Yarde is coming off of a seventh round TKO over Dariusz Sek back in June. With a title shot drawing closer, its time to see a step up in competition for the explosive power-punching prospect.
With little amateur experience, it’s understandable why he’s being brought along slowly. At 6 feet tall, he has shown potential; with him continuing to climb in the rankings it would serve him great to step up to the next level of competition.
