The British Boxing Board of Control rules on Kash Ali biting incident.

The BBBofC has finally ruled on the punishment for Kash Ali involving the biting incident against David Price.

In their March 30 bout, the underdog was losing badly and began fouling Price. Before being deducted a point for pulling on the head, Price has previously complained he had been bitten.

Then in a shocking turn of events, Ali tackled and bit the hometown favorite. He was immediately disqualified, giving the Liverpool native the victory.

Now nearly a month later, the BBBofC has officially suspended the Birmingham fighter for six months and issued a £10,000 fine ($13,000 USD). The punishment seems lenient due to the fact that most fighters only fight twice a year.

The incident will probably force Ali to fight outside the UK due to most promoters possibly subbing him as “unstable” and “unreliable.”
