Conor Benn Wins Eubank Jr. Rematch and Eyes Norman vs Haney
In his latest at bat, welterweight fighter Conor “The Destroyer” Benn (24-1, 14 KO’s) picked a solid UD win over bitter professional rival Chris Eubank Jr. The duel served as an immediate rematch to their earlier battle stage on April 26. With this win, The Destroyer has evened up the score with Eubank which obviously opens the door for a potential rematch.
In the aftermath of the duel, the two competitors were extremely respectful and congratulatory to one another. Despite being directly asked though, both Benn and Eubank Jr. were verbally noncommittal about whether or not they were going to stage their rubber match next. Provided this is the case, then we can expect them to lock horns once again sometime in the first or second quarter of 2026.
For his part however, Benn did articulate his desire to test his might against the winner of the impending prizefight between WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. and Devin Haney. In the past, Team Haney was interested in penning a bout with Conor Benn, so perhaps that past curiosity can be parlayed into a future scrap. For the time being, however, all we can do is sit back and play the waiting game.
