Is Adrien Broner Turning to Comedy?

When it comes to the unpredictable Cincinnati, OH fighter Adrien “The Problem” Broner (33-4-1, 24 KO’s), there is no denying that he is the ultimate wildcard. Whether in or outside of the ring, there is no telling what he might do, say or perform. His outlandish actions have earned him championship belts, praise, ridicule and several court dates. And like his self-proclaimed ‘big bro’ Floyd Mayweather Jr, Broner probably has a larger stable of haters than he does ardent supporters.

A MAN OF MANY HATS

In the end, Broner couldn’t care less about those kicking dirt on his name. This is because he understands that the haters pay to see him lose just like his fans pay to see him excel. However, these days it appears that Broner is actually retired from the sport. The Problem has threatened this before only to chuck knuckles professionally again. This time it seems that it just might stick.

Luckily for those who do earnestly support Broner, just as he is wildly unpredictable, he is also multi-talented. Despite what many would describe as knucklehead antics, AB has shown on a number of occasions that he can be a savvy salesman, businessman and crafty wordsmith on the microphone. Yet, as is his way, Broner may be on the verge of throwing another pleasurable curveball to the people.

FROM JABS TO JOKES

Out of his many skills, one that cannot be denied is his zany and humorous attitude when talking about just about anything. Unless you just can’t stand Broner, chance are he has consistently made you laugh. This is why it should come as little surprise that he is preparing to take his talents to the comedy stage very soon!

In an exclusive interview with Fight Hub TV, Broner revealed that he is working with famed comedian, actor and musician Jamie Foxx to produce his very first comedic act. When and where this show will take place and be aired is still up in the air. Like boxing, to be a truly successful stand-up comedian takes years of dedication and practice, but it would definitely be well worth the time to see how Adrien Broner performed under the hot lights of a comedy club.

“I’m writing my first stand-up, Jamie Foxx is working with me! It’s going to be crazy…I got a lot of crazy jokes…Jaime Foxx is really hands on, he is really helping me.”
