Seniesa Estrada to Rematch Anabel Ortiz on August 6 in Texas Showdown!
Two-division world champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (22-0, 9KOs) will return to the ring on August 6 in a rematch against Anabel “Avispa” Ortiz (31-3, 4KOs). The fight will take place on the undercard of Vergil Ortiz vs Michael McKinson live on DAZN. This will be Estrada’s first fight since last December, when she knocked out Maria Micheo Santizo in four rounds.
Super Bad, who was 3Kings Boxing’s 2021 Female Fighter of the Year, made the announcement on her social media. The first fight with Ortiz, a two-time mini-flyweight champion, took place last March. Estrada dominated the one-sided bout for the unanimous decision win, and picked up the WBA minimumweight title in the process.
As one of the best female boxers in the sport, Estrada has established herself as a must-see on TV. Blessed with tremendous boxing skills and underrated punching power, the unbeaten champion has established herself as possibly the best female fighter in the lower weight divisions. With possible unifications against IBF minimumweight champion Yakosta Valle (25-2, 9KOs), WBC champion Tina Rupprecht (11-0-1, 3KOs) and WBO champion Nguyen Thi Thi Nhi (5-0, 1KO), the chance for an undisputed run has to be on her radar.
