Kelvin Davis Earns Unimpressive Win Over Peter Dobson

In his most recent at-bat, welterweight fighter Kelvin “Night Night” Davis (16-1, 8 KO’s) defeated Peter Dobson (17-4, 10 KO’s). Once the cards had been read, Davis walked away with a split decision win with the scores of 98-92 (Dobson), and 99-91 and 97-93 (Davis).

By toppling Dobson, Davis was able to hop back in the win column. He lost to Nahir Albright in his last prizefight back on June 6, 2025. It is obviously a good thing to get back to his winning ways. Although, this showing is not likely to dazzle the fans at home.

Currently, Davis is not stationed in the top 15 of any of the four major sanctioning bodies. With that being the case, it would seem that jumping into those standings is the next major mission at hand for Night Night. It will be revealing to see who Team Davis can sign off to face next.
