Manny Pacquiao Wants To Un-retire For Errol Spence & Terence Crawford

Retired multiple divisional champion Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39KO) is looking to come out of retirement for a shot at unified welterweight champion Errol “The Truth” Spence (28-0, 22KO) and WBO champion Terence “Bud” Crawford (38-0, 29KO).

Social media will be in an uproar as this hits the daily cycle of news. Pac-Man has been tied to fights with both champions in the past. In 2021, Pacquiao’s name came up in a possible fight with Crawford, claiming that he told Top Rank’s Bob Arum he wanted $40 million.

Next, Pacquiao was to fight Spence on August 21, 2021. Unfortunately, the fight got shelved due to the unified champion suffering an eye injury . The Filipino legend went on to lose to WBA champion Yordenis Ugas which resulted in his retirement.

CAN PACQUIAO INTERRUPT PLANS FOR UNDISPUTED?

It seems the itch for competing still roars in his belly. During an interview with Fighthype, Pacquiao entertained the idea of fighting either champion.

“I can fight Terence Crawford or Spence.

“I’m eager to fight with them because to test if they’re really a champion. I’ve been fighting with a lot of boxers in 147, 140, and 135. I’ve been fighting with one of the greatest boxers in the world. So, I want to test them.”

Boxing fans were already upset when Spence and Crawford’s scheduled November showdown got scrapped. Both champions have taken different paths in hopes of possibly fighting in 2023. However, Pacquiao could upset those plans as both Spence and Crawford would love to add his name to their resume.

As of the writing of this article, there has been no response from either champion.
