Frank Martin impresses again in one-sided win over Ryan Kielczweski
Rising lightweight prospect Frank “The Ghost” Martin (13-0, 10KOs) returns to the ring against Ryan Kielczweski (30-6, 11KOs) on the non-televised portion of the Manny Pacquiao v Yordenis Ugas card on August 21. The seven-time national amateur champion is looking to continue his rise from prospect to contender. In his last bout, he stopped the previously unbeaten lightweight prospect Jerry Perez in seven rounds. Now, the hard-hitting, speedy southpaw will look to keep his unbeaten record intact against Ryan Kielczweski.
DOMINATION FROM BEGINNING TO END!
From the moment the bell rang, Martin was on Kielczweski, applying major pressure and delivering immediate punishment! The combination punching to the head and body of the Polish Prince was a thing of beauty. In this bout, Martin displayed that he can box over the course of ten rounds, as well as his impressive offensive arsenal. After the conclusion of ten one-sided rounds, the Michigan-born fighter was unsurprisingly awarded a unanimous decision. All of the scorecards read 100-90.
With his fourteenth pro victory under his belt, it’s going to be interesting to see who The Ghost takes on next. It’s clear that he’s ready to take that next step up in competition.
