Jarrell Miller Accuses Jared Anderson of Identity Theft

In his next battle, on December 23, controversial heavyweight fighter Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (26-0-1, 22 KO’s) will face Daniel Dubois. In the meantime however, Miller took the time to take shots at fellow heavyweight contender Jared “Big Baby” Anderson (16-0, 15 KO’s). While the two have never really been all that close to facing one another in the ring, they clearly share the division, their monikers and some animosity. Ever the opportunist, Miller took the time to try to ruffle a few feathers.

“Yea, they copied my whole style. I was at Top Rank for a while and I heard they were doing some PR stuff trying to take my whole shine. Even the way that he [Jared Anderson] comes out, the outfit he wears, the cars he drives, he is trying to be like me. It’s alright to have a son and a copycat. But like I said, he is not ready for the big time just yet. So he’ll stay in his place. He’s a little baby, he’s my son.”

AN ALL-BABY BATTLE?

Given the level of trash talk that both athletes engage in, a potential fight between them would make for some fantastic pre-fight hype. In terms of their career though, Anderson, ranked #2 (WBO), #5 (IBF), #6 (WBC) and #8 (WBA), would have less to gain and far more to lose. To begin, he is a lot further along in the rankings. Also, Anderson has been described as being the next big thing in the division by countless individuals in the sport including WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Due to this, there is an expectation of big things to come.

On the flipside, Miller is still trying to claw his way back to respectability, having been flagged for PED’s on three separate occasions. In fact, there are quite a few fans and insiders that are amazed that Miller is still being allowed to compete in the sport. Putting this to the side, when in shape, Jarrell Miller is an aggressive, voluminous, high-pressure fighter with an entertaining style. Outside the ring, Miller certainly knows how to run his mouth and sell a fight.

So let’s see if Anderson has anything to say about Miller’s comments. If so, this could very well turn into a hot and heavy feud. Thankfully, no matter what the outcome may be, 3Kings Boxing will be here to report all details of the fallout!
