Jarrell Miller To Face Tetteh In October and Lucas Browne in November
The comeback of former disgraced heavyweight contender Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller (25-0-1, 21KOs) continues. The former top contender, who is 2-0 since returning to the ring, will lace up the gloves and face Ebenezer Tetteh (20-1, 17KOs) on October 3 in Kazakhstan. Tetteh is most known for being obliterated in one round by the recently crowned WBA Regular heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois back in 2019.
Assuming Miller wins as expected, he’ll return to the ring the following month against longtime contender Lucas Browne (31-3, 27KOs). The aging Browne is coming off a much needed win, stopping Junior Fa in one round back in June. At 41 years old, there’s not much left in the tank for the Australian. However, he still may have enough to upend the comeback plans of Miller. The fight, if it does indeed happen, will take place either November 13 or 26 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, or at the O2 Arena in London.
For Miller, he’s doing what he said he would do, and that’s fight frequently for the remainder of 2022. If he can finish the year strong and continue to shake off the rust, being that he’s ranked #14 (WBA), bigger fights will surely be on the horizon.
