Alycia Baumgardner guarantees pain against Terri Harper!

Super featherweight contender Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (10-1, 6KOs) has vowed to dish out pain when she tussles with WBC super featherweight champion Terri Harper (11-0-1, 6KOs). The two women are scheduled to meet November 13 in Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Both women have a fifty percent or higher knockout ratio, which indicates both fighters’ power. With the WBC strap on the line and heading into the champion’s backyard, the Michigan native knows she’s going to have to bring it in all facets come fight night.

The challenger issued a statement of her ill intentions towards the champion saying the following:

“I hope that Terri Harper understands that when you step in the ring with me, I’m throwing bombs. Terri will feel every punch I throw, my punches are thrown with evil intent. Don’t let a pretty face fool you.”

SPARKS WILL FLY!

Harper, who’ll be making the third defense of her title, is only one fight removed from a very questionable draw against Natasha Jonas. After the conclusion of their fight, many people viewed Jonas as the winner, although the scorecards didn’t reflect that. In her second title defense, the WBC champ would get back to her winning ways, stopping Katharina Thanderz in nine rounds.

This fight has the potential to steal the thunder from the main event between IBF featherweight champion Kid Galahad and former champion Kiko Martinez. This dustup could produce a very good action-battle.

There’s plenty on the line for both women. For Harper, she’s looking to hold onto to her titles as well as her unbeaten record. As for Baumgardner, she has a chance at her first world title. A win would tremendously boost her status as an elite fighter.

Come November 13, we’ll see which fighter rises to the occasion and which stumbles in this fantastic matchup.
