She took to Twitter to break the news.
This is a key fight as the winner of this bout was being lined up to face either WBO Junior Lightweight champion Mikaela Mayer or IBF champion Maiva Hamadouche, at some point in 2021.
The injury will require surgery, so there is no definite timetable on Harper’s return. However, she did mention in her statement that she is hopeful that the unification bout with Hyun-Mi Choi can be rescheduled for later this year.
3kingsboxing.com will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
