Jared Anderson Believes He Outboxes Frank Sanchez
Emerging heavyweight contender Jared “Big Baby” Anderson (16-0, 15KO), is enthusiastic about the prospect of stepping into the ring with another formidable contender in “The Cuban Flash” Frank Sanchez (22-0, 15KO). With a methodical ascent through the rankings, Big Baby has positioned himself as a leading figure in the pursuit of becoming the next American heavyweight champion.
During a conversation with Brian Custer on The Last Stand, Anderson left no room for doubt about his intentions. He expressed his keenness to face off against Sanchez when asked to nominate an opponent capable of silencing his critics.
“I think it’s a few different fights . . . maybe Frank Sanchez. I know a lot of people put him in my comments a lot. I think that’d be a great fight to make you know what I’m saying. I think styles make fights, period – a boxer versus a boxer. Whether people don’t want to call me a boxer yet or not, I know I’m a boxer, and I know I can box.”
ANTICPATING A MEETING DOWN THE LINE
This isn’t the first instance where this talented heavyweight has mentioned the name of The Cuban Flash. Following his swift triumph over veteran Jerry Forrest in the first round, Big Baby publicly voiced his interest in locking horns with Sanchez.

The Cuban heavyweight boasts a prominent standing in the rankings of the WBC, IBF, and WBO. His most recent appearance in the ring saw him pitted against Daniel Martz on April 8.
On the other hand, Anderson is fresh off an impressive fifth-round stoppage victory over Andriy Rudenko on August 26. This pair of undefeated contenders would undoubtedly deliver a riveting showdown that holds the potential for either a title bout or a significant unification contest in the future.
