Ryan Garcia Surfaces to Snap at Keyshawn Davis & Teofimo Lopez

Over the course of nearly this entire year, lightweight fighter “King Ry” Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KO’s) has remained an uncontrollable live wire on social media. He has called out numerous fighters over a multiple divisions, invited lawsuits, been a womanizer, and uttered some truly filthy racist statements. Now, Garcia is back threatening to put his mouth to more destructive use. On this occasion, he has aimed his crass attention on lightweight boxer Keyshawn “The Businessman” Davis (11-0, 7 KO’s) and WBO junior welterweight champion Teofimo “The Takeover” Lopez (21-1, 13 KO’s).

While patrolling the highways of Twitter, Garcia saw another instance of Davis calling out Lopez and took the opportunity to jump in the mix in a very peculiar way.

MOUTHY AS EVER

As is his way, Garcia has committed this wild sentiment for public consumption in true shock-jock fashion. And there is little doubt that Davis and Lopez will respond with a bit of venom themselves. While he has yet to show any serious fire, The Businessman did ponder out loud the nature of Garcia’s tweet. Unfortunately though, there is little that will come from this, at least not for some time. This is due to King Ry’s suspension resulting from his failed drug tests in the aftermath of his highly anticipated duel with amateur and professional rival Devin Haney.

As a punishment for the violation, Garcia was fined $1 million dollars and suspended for a year. While still shackled with this suspension, there are no fights with anyone that Garcia can realistically talk about making until essentially next year. Nevertheless, in his own rather distasteful way, Garcia consistently finds a way to continue making headlines. So, while he is out of the picture for the foreseeable future, it will be interesting to see if anything becomes of the static with Davis and Lopez.
