Tyson Fury Signs His Half of the Contract For Fury vs Wilder 3!

According to WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury (30-0-1, 21 KO’s) we are set for his trilogy against Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KO’s). Fury is a veritable wildcard and added to his reputation on an ESPN segment. He crashed one of the live segments on the Josh Taylor versus Jose Ramirez telecast.

During the brief appearance, the Gypsy King let it be known that he had signed his portion of the contract for a third fight with Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder. Clearly, Fury could not live up to his word of boycotting another fight with the Bronze Bomber!

For an extremely skimpy period of time, it looked like Fury was going to face unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. The two were scheduled to face one another in Saudi Arabia in an extravaganza that would have netted each a $75 million dollar payday. Along with the financial gains, the prizefight would have crowned one as the undisputed heavyweight champion.

Unfortunately for them, the bout went up in smoke when Wilder won an arbitration process that he set in motion months ago. Once it was clear that the all-UK undisputed bout was null and void, the makings for Wilder vs Fury 3 proceeded very quickly. Wilder assured that he would not accept step-aside money. Just as well, Fury’s Top Rank co-promotional company was not interested in paying it. Therefore, with Fury’s recent impromptu announcement, it looks like we are set for a July 24 showdown at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
